By accessing or using the platform at PetTrust.io (the "Platform"), including our web application, mobile applications, PetTrust.io document tools, and Ask PetTrust AI features (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
PetTrust.io pet-trust packets are state-specific and are generated only for states currently supported by the product. If a state is not supported, the Platform should route you to a waitlist instead of generating a state-specific document.
If you are using the Services on behalf of a legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
The Platform is a self-help document preparation service that provides PetTrust.io state-specific pet-trust packets for supported states using guided questionnaires and structured templates. The Services may include an AI-powered assistant called Ask PetTrust that provides general educational information.
LegalDraft Technologies LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The Platform does not engage in the practice of law. Ask PetTrust is an AI assistant — it is not an attorney, and its responses do not constitute legal advice.
Documents generated through the Platform do not create an attorney-client relationship with LegalDraft Technologies LLC or any individual attorney.
Attorney review may be available as an optional paid add-on. If requested, attorney review is governed by separate written engagement terms between you and the reviewing attorney or law firm that accepts the engagement.
No formal user account registration is required for basic use of the Platform. Session state is maintained using your browser's localStorage, which stores data locally on your device.
Access to paid features is granted through one of the following methods:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your access credentials, including any access codes or payment confirmations. Do not share access codes with others.
Each purchase grants a single, non-transferable license to use the Services for one PetTrust.io packet. Licenses may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred to another person.
All prices displayed on the Platform are in United States Dollars (USD).
Purchases are one-time payments. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions, or automatic renewals associated with the Platform.
All direct payments are processed by Square, Inc., a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number. For details on how Square handles your payment data, please refer to Square's Privacy Notice.
No refunds are available after document generation begins. Because PetTrust.io packets are generated immediately upon purchase and contain your personalized information, the service is considered fully delivered at the time of generation. This is consistent with digital goods exemptions under consumer protection law.
Refund exceptions: If a verified technical failure on our end prevents you from accessing or generating your documents, we will issue a full refund or provide a replacement at our option. Contact support@pettrust.io with details of the issue.
Access codes and magic links are issued only through verified Square checkout, authorized manual issuance, or other approved LegalDraft Technologies LLC channels. Refund requests for PetTrust.io purchases should be directed to us at support@pettrust.io.
You agree to contact us at support@pettrust.io before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving any issues directly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your access to the Services.
The following intellectual property rights apply to the Platform and its content:
By using the Services, you grant LegalDraft Technologies LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to use the information you provide solely for the purpose of generating your PetTrust.io packet, providing Ask PetTrust guidance, processing payments, supporting your access, and maintaining platform safety. We do not claim ownership of your personal information or inputs.
You agree that you will not:

The total aggregate liability of LegalDraft Technologies LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to LegalDraft Technologies LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LegalDraft Technologies LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
No attorney-client relationship is formed by using this Platform.
Your use of the Platform, including interactions with Ask PetTrust AI, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and LegalDraft Technologies LLC or any individual attorney.
Ask PetTrust AI conversations are not privileged. Communications with Ask PetTrust are not protected by attorney-client privilege, work product doctrine, or any other legal privilege. Do not share information with Ask PetTrust that you would only share with your attorney in confidence.
If you request the attorney review add-on, an attorney-client relationship is formed only if a reviewing attorney or law firm separately accepts the engagement in writing. The terms of that separate engagement, not these Terms of Service, will govern the attorney-client relationship.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at pettrust.io/privacy.html. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Platform relies on the following third-party services to deliver the Services. Each third-party service is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy:
We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of any third-party service. In the event of a third-party service failure that impacts your use of the Platform, our liability is limited as described in Section 8 above.
The Platform operates as a self-help document preparation service. The Platform does not engage in the practice of law and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or recommendations regarding your legal rights.
The Services:
No attorney-client relationship is formed by use of this Platform. Attorney review, where available, is separate from the self-help software and requires a separate written engagement.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@pettrust.io and attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation for a period of thirty (30) days.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator in Broward County, Florida. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against LegalDraft Technologies LLC.
Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court in Broward County, Florida, for disputes within the jurisdictional limits of the small claims court, as an alternative to arbitration.
For any disputes not subject to arbitration, the exclusive venue shall be the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services.
